At Anahtam, we are committed to providing high-quality mental health services. This refund policy outlines when refunds may be granted and the process for requesting them.

2. Service Types and Refund Eligibility

Individual Therapy Sessions

  • 24+ hrs notice: Full refund or reschedule
  • 12–24 hrs notice: 50% refund
  • <12 hrs notice: No refund
  • Emergencies: Reviewed case-by-case

Subscription Plans

  • Monthly: Cancel before next billing cycle
  • Annual: Prorated refund in first 30 days
  • Used sessions are non-refundable
  • Unused prepaid time may be refunded

Assessments & Screenings

  • Unused: Refund within 7 days
  • Used: Not refundable
  • Tech issues: Full refund

Group Programs & Workshops

  • >48 hrs before: Full refund
  • 24–48 hrs before: 50% refund
  • After start: No refund
  • Program canceled by Anahtam: Full refund

3. Refund Request Process

  1. Contact support by email or phone
  2. Provide account info & reason
  3. Attach any documentation
  4. Wait for confirmation
  5. Refund processed to original payment method

Most refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Services

  • Completed sessions
  • Downloaded materials
  • Accessed course content
  • Expired refund windows
  • Third-party products
  • Processing fees

5. Special Circumstances

  • Medical Emergencies: May require documentation
  • Technical Issues: Full refund or service credit
  • Provider Unavailability: Full refund of unused services

6. Insurance & Third-Party Payments

  • Subject to provider policies
  • Refunds may take longer
  • Some may be issued as account credits
  • Copays follow standard policies

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Submit appeal within 30 days
  • Provide additional context if needed
  • Senior team reviews within 10 business days
  • We aim for fair outcomes

8. Changes to This Policy

Material updates will be shared via email and in-app notifications. Use of our services after updates implies acceptance of revised terms.
